Vivian laid in bed stairing at the ceiling,it had been a year since she movedbut the events that occured in Maryland still haunted her mind. She still thought the night that she saved Aiden from Axel. Vivian chuckled,"I can't believe I had feelings for that jerk!" Then she decided to take a nap before shewent out for her evening run with Gabriel. As for the rest of the pack, the five were still causing mischief but nothing to harmful. All they did was cause scenes during the day and scared the crap out of humans at night when they were in their true form. Wolves were normal in Vermont so no one reported their run ins with them.Esme` no longer ot into fights with Astrid since Vivian became leader. All the others just ate and slept during the day and ran throughout the nights. The pack was finally able to relax now that they didn't have to worry about gossip and news reports of "werewolves" killing innocent people.
It was about midnight and the pack was wide awake they all slowly changed into werewolves and scurried outside. The harvest moon shone beautiful that night. Vivian and Gabriel strayed away from the pack to go down a secret trail that led to a beautiful stream. The path was aligned with a mixture of treeand bushes. The sweet aroma of the flowers lingered in the air. Soon the path ended and and the couple was allowed to do whatever they pleased without annoying interuptions from the others. Vivian chased the minnows in the water while her mate covered their tracks."It's beautiful tonight>" Vivian thought aloud. "I can't believe you didn't notice." said Gabe "What?" Vivian was trying to think of what Gabe was talking about but she didn't recall anything. "Oh nothing, just the fact that tonight is the anniversery of Axel's death." He muttered. "Oh, so that's why everyone's in such a good mood." She laughed. Axel was a horrible man and werewolf,he brought chaos and destruction everywhere he went and the pack was glad he was gone. Most people say that it's horrible happy about someone's death but those people don't know how many people he killed and the excruciating pain he put everone through. Before they could realize it the sun was about to rise. They had to hurry home before humans spotted them. Vivian was running so fast she could hardley breathe and the branches were hitting against her like whips but she had no time to think about the pain. When she transformed into a human again you could easily see the large cuts that were impossible to cover up. She was used to the pain that came with being a werewolf but she was afraid of what everyone at school might think. All she could do now was wash the blood away and think of an excuse when the time comes.
